I don’t believe in one size fits all programs or diets, but like all humans I have biases; no coach or trainer is free from this so I try to be as up front as I can about mine.

As a Personal Trainer I often say that I am a “performance first” coach; I bias toward strength and conditioning, in that order, but neither to exclusion of the other. If you’re both strong and well conditioned (meaning your heart and lungs work well together), then it follows your body will be generally “fit”. I do place value on how one looks, but for most people I believe that becoming more athletic will make you aesthetic (can I trademark that?).
